In Cenaria, Kylar hunts Duchess Trudana Jadwin to avenge his foster sisters. Despite High King Logan Gyre’s postwar amnesty, Kylar executes Jadwin. This act pulls him back into the underworld and onto a collision course with new political powers.

Kylar returns to Elenea, living as a wealthy but hollow landlord. Momma K manipulates him into taking a job to recover an artifact called the Nemesis Compass.

The real goal is to rescue Logan’s twin sons, Kiern and Caedan, from Lord Rabisu Repha’im.

Kylar travels south to Tover with Phaena, an agent posing as a prostitute who is actually a wet nurse.
