Ruthless Fae Summary: The Twins Strike Back in a Reckoning of Fire and War
Introduction
Hair hacked off. Gold melted. A near-drowning in a fountain. The Vega twins have hit rock bottom, but they are not running.
This Ruthless Fae summary breaks down the second book in the Zodiac Academy series, where Darcy and Tory Vega choose to stay and fight the Celestial Heirs who tried to break them.
What begins as a personal vendettaāpranks, sabotage, and public humiliationācollides with a much darker threat.
The murder of a professor is confirmed as the work of a Nymph, and the shadowy creatures are massing. By the final pages, the petty squabbles of an academy bully war are swallowed by a real one.
Set at Zodiac Academy on the island of Solaria, the social hierarchy is brutal, magic is elemental, and the true heirs to the throne have just declared themselves.
