Mia Tyler, a twenty-two-year-old forensics student in Atlanta, has secretly trained in martial arts under Desert Storm veteran Michael Briggs.
Her nineteen-year-old sister Nicola dies of a heroin overdose. Before her death, Nicola reveals that a third man was present during her assault two years earlier.

Gator Freeland and Marco Foxx were already executed for that crime. Nicola panicked after seeing a custom black-and-cherry-red Harley-Davidson, pointing toward its owner.
Convinced the third man is either Aiden Foxx, the new Disciples of Sin president, or a Wretched Souls MC member, Mia takes her mother’s maiden name, Crawford.
She secures a job as a shooter girl at Lavish, a strip club owned by the Disciples. There she meets Roz, the manager, and immediately draws the attention of Aiden Foxx.
Aiden is a thirty-five-year-old former Navy SEAL who took over the club after his corrupt stepbrother Marco ran it into the ground. He suspects Mia is a spy for the southern Mafia don Angus Ramsey.
Their first interactions are combative. Aiden senses she hides something. Mia feels a dark, unwanted attraction.
Isaac “Dagger” Rodham, the sadistic president of the Wretched Souls Savannah chapter, fixates on Mia at the club. To shield her, Aiden publicly claims Mia as his ol’ lady. He forces her to move into his heavily secured ranch home on the Wilmington River.
While living there, Mia searches Aiden’s house and finds a locked tackle box containing anesthetics and truth serums. Aiden’s Sergeant at Arms, Stone, runs a background check and discovers a police photo of Mia hugging Mason Tyler on Main Street.
Believing she is a Hounds of Hell spy, Aiden kidnaps her from Lavish. He takes her to a secluded cabin in the woods and injects her with sodium pentothal.
Under the truth serum, Mia confesses her real identity and her search for Nicola’s third attacker. Aiden is angered by the accusation. He shows her the surgical scars on his hand from when he beat Gator and Marco after learning what they did to Nicola.
Cleared of guilt, Aiden vows to help her find the real culprit. Their bond deepens in a river encounter, where Aiden kills an attacking alligator with his Bowie knife to keep Mia safe.
The mystery breaks open when Dagger corners Mia at Lavish. He reveals he knows her identity and steals her tactical folding knife, which has a black handle and dragonfly engraving.
Nicola had a matching knife engraved with a bumblebee. She lost it during the assault after cutting her attacker.
Mia later discovers Nicola’s bumblebee knife on a shelf in Aiden’s safe room. Aiden explains the knife was a gift from Dagger when Aiden took over the presidency.
This proves Dagger was the third man at Nicola’s rape.
Aiden and Mason, who initially fought brutally when Mason learned Mia was with a Disciple, form a secret alliance. They plan to use Mia as bait to capture Dagger. However, Dagger and his secret lover Libby, a dancer at Lavish, T-bone Mia’s car on a dirt road and abduct her.
Dagger admits he murdered Nicola by staging a heroin overdose after she recognized him.
Aiden and Mason track Mia’s car. They shoot Dagger and Libby, then transport both to the remote cabin. They torture Dagger, pulling his teeth and nails.
Libby confesses to their crimes, including keeping a young girl named Melanie in a cage. Mason shoots Libby dead. Mia uses her forensics knowledge to stab Dagger in vital organs, watching him die.
The men douse the bodies in whiskey, set them on fire, and dump the remains in the river. After the execution, Aiden and Mason make a blood pact. They end the fifty-year war between the Hounds of Hell and the Disciples of Sin.
Seventeen years later, Aiden and Mia live off-grid in their renovated family home. They have two children: sixteen-year-old Nichole and seven-year-old Brennan.
The clubs have dismantled their illegal enterprises. They now run methadone recovery clinics and Nicola’s Haven, a shelter for abused women.
The epilogue ends with Nichole beginning a romance with Sebastian Wolfe, the son of Hounds of Hell president Gabriel Wolfe.
