Her father, Salvatore Abelli, deems her unfit for marriage. Instead, her eighteen-year-old sister Adriana is betrothed to Nicolas “Ace” Russo, the youngest sitting don in New York. The alliance will cement a lucrative weapons partnership.

The Ending
