Society Women Summary (Spoilers Ahead)
Spoiler warning: the section below recounts the complete plot, including the ending.
The Setup
Elyse “Ellie” Taylor works in finance at Northrup Thomas Investment Group, the Manhattan firm founded by her father, Daniel Thomas.
She is married to Jack Taylor, an attorney for the same company, and she suffers from night terrors, sleepwalking, and unexplained bruises.
Jack and Daniel both remind her that her biological mother, Valeria, suffered a psychotic break at thirty-two and died at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital.
Jack urges her to take Ambien or step down from her career. Then a gold-script invitation arrives for a Spring Women’s Weekend in Bedford, hosted by an elite group called The Society.
Ellie invites her neighbor, Aubrey Collins, as her plus-one.

Tempsford Manor and the Assignments
At Tempsford Manor, Kat Volkov introduces herself as the head of The Society, which admits one new member each year.
Kat explains the mission: retribution against predatory men who evade legal punishment. Ellie’s first assignment is Matthew Ruehlman, a tenured Columbia pre-law professor who raped a student named Savannah Walker.
Ellie removes her wedding ring and attends a Columbia cocktail event, where she flirts with Ruehlman while anonymous texts track her outfit and movements.
During a second meeting at his apartment, she searches his office and finds a $10,000 check written to Savannah Walker.
Ruehlman returns, realizes her motive, and attempts to rape her. Ellie bites his lip, topples a table, and escapes into the street.
The check details reach The Society, and a front-page New York Post exposé destroys his career.
The second target is Surgeon General William H. Terry, who beat and disfigured a woman named Julie.
Wearing a red dress sent by Kat, Ellie meets him at a dive bar on Amsterdam Avenue and follows him to a motel room.
She ties his arms to the iron headboard with his shirt sleeves, pulls a knife, carves “JULIE” into his chest, and bites off part of his earlobe.
The Father Trap
The next assignment sends Ellie to Apotheke, a bar in Chinatown, where the target in the corner booth is her own father.
She flees. Aubrey then produces police documents showing Daniel is a serial rapist who settled child support out of court, revealing Ellie has a half-sister named Dakota Lily Wilder.
Kat ships a grocery box containing milk and honey harvested from the toxic flora at Tempsford Manor, with instructions to feed it to Daniel.
Ellie instead turns her attention to her husband. Behind Jack’s Columbia diploma she finds a wall safe holding a Canadian passport under the name Julian McCallister, records of offshore Cayman Islands transfers from Daniel, and a laptop controlling cameras hidden throughout their apartment.
The footage shows Jack drugging her orange juice with Ambien, moving furniture to simulate sleepwalking, lighting a fire on the kitchen stove while she slept, and sending the stalker texts from a burner phone.

Secret Identities
Aubrey admits she is Ellie’s half-sister, born after Daniel raped a twenty-three-year-old intern.
She takes Ellie to a West Village townhome to meet Kat Volkov, who reveals her real identity: Valeria Thomas, Ellie’s biological mother.
Valeria explains that Daniel had her committed to Greystone to avoid a costly divorce and protect his reputation. An intern helped her escape, and she founded The Society afterward.
The Climax and Ending
Ellie returns home and configures Jack’s surveillance system to live-stream to an encrypted server, then confronts him.
Jack draws a handgun — the same weapon used in the execution-style murder of CEO Colton Raines — and confesses that Daniel paid him to woo, marry, and drug Ellie.
The NYPD, alerted by Ellie’s broadcast, breaks in and arrests him. Jack is later committed to a correctional psychiatric facility after a breakdown.
Ellie visits him behind two-way glass and watches him thrash in restraints as nurses inject sedatives.
She then visits Daniel’s penthouse study and swaps his desk honey for the toxic nightshade honey from Tempsford Manor.
Daniel drinks his tea, suffers a fatal reaction, and collapses while Ellie pretends to call an ambulance, smiles, and walks out.
Ellie, Aubrey, and Valeria divide Daniel’s altered estate and offshore accounts three ways.
In the closing scene, Ellie and Aubrey drive toward Westchester and the Amalfi Coast, established as leaders within The Society.
